Four days before their wedding, Stephanie and Casey held a private Marriage of the Spirit Ceremony, performed by White Buffalo Woman, their friend, Eve Kerwin. It was an intimate setting at Tods Point Park in Greenwich, overlooking Long Island Sound.

I met Stephanie and Casey two years ago at Casey's brother's wedding, so I was happy to reconnect with familiar faces and hear about Jasmin and Francis' growing family! Stephanie and Casey married at Sacred Heart Church, and following the ceremony, everyone gathered on either side of the church steps leading down to the street. They recreated a photograph taken of Casey's parents on their wedding day, tossing rice in the air as they descended the stairs. I'm still not sure where or how this tradition came to be! Afterward, we made our way back to Tod's Point Park, where Casey proposed. I made some portraits of just the two of them before making our way to the Hyatt Regency for their reception. It was a beautiful day and a wonderful celebration; thank you for having me along. Congratulations to you both!
