Amy and Jacob met, in 2012, at what Amy calls "nerd camp." Amy, now an established cartoonist and writer, and Jacob, a professor of philosophy, are, spoiler alert, already married! Their pandemic nuptials took place in August 2020, in a drive-by wedding chapel in Vegas, on their way from Brooklyn (home of many years) to Central California (where they now live). Elvis was sadly not available to officiate, but he attended in spirit. They finally celebrated with family and friends at Temple Shalom of Newton with a reception at the Boston Children's Museum. During speeches, some guests braved the three-story climbing structure, a few getting stuck in the netting. Everyone made it out okay. Both days were an honor to document and experience alongside you and your guests. Congratulations, Amy and Jacob!
